We are in the middle of graduation exams here at BCHS! Which means, things are a little on the crazy side. Let's try to remain focused on our topics and assignments. With Spring Break less that three days away, I know that's difficult...But you CAN DO IT! Remember to keep up with what's going on in our Edmodo class! 

Prom Expo is tomorrow during 4th block and is available for all students to attend. Make sure to get a ticket tomorrow! 

Let's Get Radical!

We are starting our RADICAL unit! Today we will be introduced to radicals and how to simplify them. I will be posting several resources and videos to the new Unit 7 folder in Edmodo. Be sure to study, we will follow the normal assessment schedule this week (Wed. - Quiz & Fri. - Test)! 

Spring Break 2013 is less than a week away! Don't get too excited just yet! Remember, to do your best this week! Report cards go home Friday! 

Review for Midterms Continues

We are finishing our Midterm Review Packets today!!! Be sure to study tonight for your 3rd and 4th block exams tomorrow! Just remember midterms mark the half-way point of the semester!...and it's almost Spring Break!

Midterms are not always a fun filled time, but do your best to stay focused! Remember to try your very best and STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! Take advantage of the time you've been given in class!

Midterm Review

We are starting to review for the semester midterm exam that will be held this Thursday and Friday! You all need to wrk on the review packet you were given today and come to class tomorrow prepared to ask any questions you may have regarding the assignment! Good Luck! 

It's Quiz Day!

Today we will review solving systems of equations using both the graphing method and the substitution  method. We will then complete our Mid-Unit quiz. Be sure to study before the quiz and be prepared to ask any questions you may have prior to the start of the quiz! Have an awesome day!

We will also Faulkner State's Sunchief Sounds on campus today! Be sure to be on your best behavior!

Solving Systems of Equations - Day 1

Today we will be discuss solving systems of equations by graphing. It is possibly the easiest topic we will cover in Algebra 1B! I am thrilled about Unit 6. Tomorrow we will begin SUBSTITUTION! Remember the intersection is KEY! 

Graphing Linear Inequalities - Day 3

Today is going to be an AWESOME day! We are continuing our discussion of linear inequalities. Today we will look at systems of inequalities and how their graphs intersect and overlap! We will then determine the possible solutions!

Graphing Linear Inequalities - Day 1

Today students will review topics from Algebra 1A relating to solving inequalities. We will integrate what we know about inequalities with what we learned in Unit 4 about graphing linear equations. In Unit 5 we will be solving and graphing linear inequalities. It will be LOTS of FUN! The video links and homework can be found on Edmodo.
